Teacher Maya

Hi everybody! My name is Maya, and I love teaching! I am very patient and energetic whenever I teach kids. Smiling is also my way to show that I am excited to teach. I motivate my students to ask questions, and not to be afraid of making mistakes because it is part of the learning process.

I have been teaching for about 11 years now! I’m a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education in English, and a licensed professional teacher. I’ve taught Chinese of different ages for 4 years. I have a TESOL and TEyL teaching certificate. I’m currently teaching English to Junior High School students.

I always make sure that my students are having fun while learning. I don’t miss giving compliments and feedback, so that they would be more motivated to learn and participate. Come and join my class and let’s make learning English fun and interactive.
